A sesonal position from March to Nov. 1
Provides administrative support for all of the operations of the North Cascades Lodge at Stehekin.  Prepares reports, processes payroll and invoices for payment.  Tracks various key data for management review including environmental tracking reports.  Maintains a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).

DUTIES

Promotes the spirit and intent of Guest Services Hospitality Standards.
Remains aware of safety and environmental issues.
Promote Career Development and Workplace Diversity.
Picks up and distributes mail daily.
Types correspondence, memos and price submittals as required by the General Manager. 
Responsible for maintaining administrative calendar and files.
Supports Personnel function pertaining to recruiting, new hire paperwork, drug testing, and maintaining personnel files.
Greets and directs incoming guests, visitors and employees.
Assists in typing for staff, when necessary.
Prepares and distributes weekly staff meeting agenda.
Attends staff meetings, records, transcribes and distributes minutes.
Prepares Park Service price submittals (Food and Beverage, Hotel) for the General Manager.
Maintain and update manuals for all units in coordination with the various managers/supervisors.
Develops, executes, monitors, and documents Environmental Program
Prepares daily revenue comparison and distributes
Prepares financial variance report on a monthly basis
Prepares monthly and year-to-date Public Use report comparison
Prepares monthly and year-to-date accident frequency and severity ratios
Maintains various records and information and prepares other periodic reports.
Acts as the coordinator with regards to all specific events, prepares and submits ads for holiday functions at our facilities.
Answers calls and responds to messages.
Performs such other related duties as directed or required.
 

QUALIFICATIONS

High school graduate, some college preferred.
 
Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively.  Must be able to write legibly as well as read and understand directions and instructions.  Appearance must be in compliance with company guidelines.
Will be required to perform diverse physical tasks.  Must be able to stoop, bend, grasp, and perform repetitive motions.  Must be able to be in a sitting position for 2 hour stretches. Must be able to lift 10 pounds periodically.
Must be service and safety oriented.  Must possess a sense of awareness, timelines, urgency, humor, and common sense.  Must live in local community and be able to adapt to the isolation of national park life.
Must be able to proficient with Windows based programs - Word / Excel  / PowerPoint etc...
